Anxiety & Overthinking
Anxiety can show up in many different ways.
For some people it feels like constant overthinking. For others it may be a sense of unease, difficulty switching off, physical tension or continually anticipating what might go wrong.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before talking about it.
Sometimes having a calm space to slow things down, understand what may be contributing to what you’re experiencing and explore what may help can make things feel more manageable.
Online counselling and wellbeing support is available on a limited basis by arrangement.

You may notice anxiety showing up as:
* Feeling overwhelmed, tense or constantly on edge
* Overthinking conversations, decisions or what might happen next
* Difficulty switching off or settling your mind
* Physical sensations such as a racing heart, tight chest or restlessness
* Avoiding situations because they feel uncomfortable or overwhelming
* Feeling less confident or more uncertain than usual
These experiences can sometimes begin to affect relationships, work, study, sleep and everyday life.
Counselling can provide a calm space to slow things down, explore what may be contributing to what you’re experiencing, and consider practical ways of responding differently.
There is no expectation that everything needs to be solved at once. Sometimes simply understanding what is happening can be an important first step.
A limited number of online counselling and wellbeing sessions are available by arrangement.
